In 2007, Apave created centers dedicated to HSE job-related training in Gabon and Congo. Electrical work authorization, lift truck driving, defensive driving, workplace first aid, fire safety, good body mechanics and HUET (emergency helicopter evacuation) training is offered to all persons working at the Pointe Noire and Port Gentil oil sites.
